Thanks for all the kind hugs, wishes and prayers yesterday. I felt my spirits lift and had a good day. I had a few people ask if I had lost two daughters. Yes, Roxcy died of SIDS in Dec.1993 and is buried in Seaside, Cal. I will never know why Roxcy died. Monterey County has a coroner and not a Medical Examiner; therefore, they only ruled out specific/obvious things--abuse, suffocation, series of blood tests, etc.... I have a nephew who was born with anonymous veinus pulmonary return (I hope I got that right) and it was discussed that only a cardiologist that knew what he was looking for could have found a heart condition like that in a new born.
Aidan (or AJ) was stillborn in May 2006 and is buried in North-East Albuquerque (which is around 20-miles from my house.) We don't know for sure why AJ died in utero. The DNA results came back that she was perfect w/ no birth defects... However, my OB did not get some test results from the fertility specialist that was seeing me at the beginning of the pregnancy until shortly before she died and they showed that I had Hughes syndrome, or sticky blood and should have been on heparin to thin my blood.
I have five living sons--Caleb, Spencer, McKay, Grant and EL Jay. I have one living daughter, EmmaClaire. Yes, I have a big family.
