Another step closer to deciding an a treatment plan and doing what I have to do to be well.
My appointment with the oncologist went well. I think I like her. The next three weeks will be full of appointments. Today after the initial consultation, where she went over the results of the biopsy and I was told the tumor is 3.4 centimeters, I had five vials of blood drawn. I have an appointment on Monday with financial aid. I am waiting to hear from the schedulers for an MRI, CT, Bone Scan, and muga (??) I meet with the surgeon and with the oncologist on January 16--hopefully I will have finished the tests and we will decide what stage the cancer is and what we will do next.
I was given this nifty tote bag to carry all the paperwork i will be dealing with and to help me be organized. It is something every one needs, you know. I included my trash from today in the foto, too. My wrist band and the stuff they wrapped around my elbow after drawing blood.
Maybe I can use it to transport the Sisterhood around to places they want to go?
