In 2009 I made a goal to post a new image daily. I discovered it was quite a challenge to take a picture each day. I discovered I can't always post even older images each day. What I did discover is that by pushing myself I did grow as a photographer. I discovered a wonderful community of photographers with many different styles and at various levels and I have learned from them. My goal changes each month. I try to post pictures I took within the last month or so, and when life gets overwhelming, I may take a few days away.

I should flip this, but.....? Reflections are upside down, right?
Thank you for the comments on my Beatles quilt.
5:20 pm: what I had hoped would be a productive, yet quiet last day at home before I go back to work has been exciting, to say the least. Jeddy got a cut on his shin while protecting El Jay from a hoard of wicked demons and we had to make a run to the UNMH ER where Jeddy got 11 stitches. He'll be OK, but he will have a scar shaped like an evil smile. (OK, so what really happened is far less exciting.) i wished I had brought my camera to get some cool shots of his gaping wound being stitched...
Driving home we got stuck in traffic, here: http://www.kob.com/article/stories/s2718334.shtml?cat=516 Apparently, a police officer shot someone during a drug sting in the parking lot of a Furr's restaurant. It looked to me like 1/2 of the APD onduty cops were there. El Jay was really curious (he loves watching CSI reruns), because there were so many police vehicles, a police chaplain car, crime scene van and news vans. You could tell they were searching the parking lot and Ilaff was completely closed. By the time we drove by the Ambulances and Emergency Vehicles were gone..... I was disappointed again that my camera was at home.
