Images taken by Tina at Indigo Studios. My Smug account was temporarily closed until I could pay my annual fee. During that time I posted images at the Sisterhood of the Bras site. I have moved a few of those back here to my daily foto and added a few. It may take me a while to get caught up.

Thank you for the comments, condolences and well wishes lately. I am sorry I have not had time to comment. I had hoped to comment yesterday, but my car was rear-ended and I have been waiting at the ER since then. They have x-rayed my left arm and chest and I am now waiting for a room--but I am not a priority. I haven't eaten since noon and I am diabetic. I keep reminding each person I talk to that I need to eat. Maybe if I pass out, I will become a priority?

Cars outside of Cortez, Colo. SOOC. No editing program on my computer.

We left ABQ at 4am Tuesday and hit snow flurries between Cortez and Monticello, Utah. Then again beginning at Green River, thru Price Canyon until American Fork. We arrived at 4pm. My mom's viewing was from 6 to 8pm. When I posted this I was too tired to caption this. Today will be another long day with the funeral and family luncheon.

Santa Baby

Santa on the run tonight at Jeddy's Holiday Concert at school. While the girl's choir sang 'Ssnta Baby' one of the girls chased Santa around the stage. I decided I liked this because santa is nearly out of the frame and you get a panning type of motion blur.

This is Tony.

He hasn't had time to get into any trouble yet.

I bought him Monday for El Jay. EL Jay was luke-warm and said, "I'd rather have a new Skylanders Giant." EL Jay told me to name MY elf.... The elf thing did not go over well.

On Tuesday morning, I told El Jay Grandma had passed away during the night. It was only a few minutes later when EL Jay spied the elf sitting on this sled. He said, "Hey, Tony." I asked who he was talking to and he said, "Oh, just the elf." I said, so you named him? El Jay said, "No, Grandma Wanda did. She was in my dream last night and said the Elf was really from her and his name is Tony."

I like that idea. My mom loved Christmas.

We need to submit Jeddy's senior picture to the yearbook teacher tomorrow. He still doesn't have an image he LOVES. We went out to day after school, but we got a late start and the light was fading fast. Jeddy wanted to do this shoot with bright backgrounds and instantly I remembered this place. I found this location in the Spring and have been wanting to do a shoot here since then. Both sides of the brick wall around this spot are painted with graffiti. And it changes frequently.

Take a look at Jeddy's gallery, please, and share with me which one you think he should use as his yearbook Senior image. Yes, it is hard, because our choices are all different for various reasons. Jeddy and I do not agree. Photography is a very subjective art.

I'm not sure I like the washed out, golden hour light here. it was also really hard to get a good color balance. We didn't get something Jeddy liked today--but he will have to pick from what i have shot already. His senior images will be a year long project and we both want to revisit this site. I'm also sure that a couple clients want to go here, too.

Thank you all for your condolences, love and prayers expressed today. My mom's funeral will be on the 19th in Utah.

Angel Looking Over His Shoulder

Another performer, Kevin Alvarado, at the Amped Acoustic Showcase.

The motion blur in the original image created what looked like a face and wing over his shoulder on the right. I played with it in PSE and created this abstract.

Sitting here in shock. Logged into Facebook and a cousin had posted that my mom had died about four hours ago. That is not the way i wanted to find out.
